And it doesn’t stop there. “Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Preggo
When I hear that word…I think of spaghetti. That makes me feel less attractive than before. Then I look at that word. And I think of ergo. Ergo - I’m huge! Yeah…just call me “with child” from now on…that one I can take with me for a while.

My Husband
My husband, this evening, explained to me how he sees Jesus and God the Father as he prays:
” Jesus is, like, standing before the throne, with God looking over his shoulder. Jesus stand there with his arms crossed and chest puffed out. He looks over to God and in a mafia voice says,’He wants some apples.’ And God goes, ‘I heard him, he wants apples.’ I don’t know why I think of them as the mafia, I just do.”
Lol.

Buying Organic and The Environment
Water is important to all life. From our little ones to the rain forests it is vitally important.Did you also know that there is a shortage of clean drinking water? Do you also know that 70% of fresh water is used for agriculture? This means we are shorting people in developing countries or safe drinking water in order for them to make a living off of cotton and other materials that are easier to sell, but bad for them and their livelihoods.Organic cotton is fed by rain water not clean water that could be used for drinking. It uses less water than non-organic cotton and has no pesticides. So for our little ones and you is pure and good. As a benefit, you can keep wearing that comforting feel of cotton without the stress of what might be happening to the environment.
Organic cotton can yield more at a higher quality, at a higher price. The growth of organic cotton supports biodiversity and healthy ecosystems.
Growing organically takes more time, requires more knowledge and skill, and, at least for now, costs a bit more. But it is worth it since it doesn’t contain any hidden costs to our environment. You help entire communities by just buying organic cotton and creating more of a demand in a growing market. Support your growing baby by giving them a planet and resources they deserve and soft, pure cotton to do that growing.Links you may find interesting: Organic Exchange and Environtment.About.com and http://www.shopbaristababy.com/barista-baby-blog.html -

Twitterpated: My Love Life with Social Media
This Friday, I want to talk a little about a thing called Social Media Etiquette. We live in a big world, with a large miss-mash of cultures, world-views, and opinions. So, as you go about interacting with customers, potential clients, peers, and competition on the inter-webs, you need to be careful.
Your tweets, status updates, blog posts, and pins tell a story. They can be a great way to establish yourself as an expert, gain exposure to a new product or company, and gain loyalty and trust from your customers. The key is to stay great. Show professionalism, candor, and personality without being crass or too flamboyant.
Keeping your social and professional life separate is a good idea, but I will say this: if you think that anything you say, at any time, could be taken in a negative light; DON’T say it. Potential customers and employers are now, more than ever, browsing the social media platforms to gain info before making decisions. Be wise and make good choices on what, where, to whom, and when you say what you need to say.
Don’t just use social media to advertise! Its tacky. Have engaging content that brings in followers that matter. If all you do is talk about your awesome sale, no one will care. Know what your audience cares about and engage them in connections. If you are having a sale, it will make a bigger impact if your customers already respect you for who you are.
Share the love! Follow, like and share with other customers, followers, peers, and aspirations. This adds content and connects you to others who of a similar process or mind-set as you are. Growing those connections allows you to reach a broader audience and round you out as an expert and a fore-runner.
Ultimately, be yourself and be candid. Everyone wants to know the face behind the brand and the driving force of the inspiration. Let them in on you and what you are about, and you will have many loyal followers.
